Mitchell Stevens (you can call him Mitch) was raised by a Christian family, spending most of his childhood living just north of Memphis, TN. He became a disciple of Christ at the age of 13 at the Bartlett Church of Christ. He graduated from Munford High School in 1997. Shortly after marrying his wife, Kathryn, Mitch began preaching full-time at the age of 21 for the Rocky Point Road Church of Christ in Cordova, TN. During his work there, Mitch received his formal education from the University of Memphis (B.A. in History, 2004) and Harding Graduate School of Religion (M.A.C.M., 2011). He has been working with the Oak Avenue church since the Spring of 2012. The Stevenses arrived a young family with two little sons and have since grown to a family of six, adding two daughters to the mix over their years here in Dickson.
