Welcome to our home here on the internet. We hope you will find what you need to plan an in-person visit. We want to glorify God to the world around us by following His Way. The Bible is God’s perfect guide. Christ Jesus is our perfect Lord. As His Spirit directs, we strive to learn, follow, and lead. This congregation has been working to do God’s will in this place for over 50 years. If you want to learn the Bible and live by it, those are our goals.

Biblically Local
This church is locally organized and led. We report to no outside boards, councils, conventions, synods, committees, or publishers. The New Testament describes churches led in each place by a plurality of locally appointed elders, also called bishops and pastors (Acts 14:23, 20:28-31; 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9; Philippians 1:1; Ephesians 4:11 1 Thessalonians 5:12; 1 Peter 5:1-3). So, that is what we have. Our evangelists preach and teach (Ephesians 4:11-12, 2 Timothy 4:1-5). Our deacons render special service (1 Timothy 3:8-13). We don’t out-source the management of what Christ has given us to do.
Scripturally Limited
As a church, we do not involve ourselves in a lot of things you might be used to seeing churches do. We have no objection to good works, education, civic service, or good, clean fun. In fact, we encourage Christians to be involved in all these. We simply don’t occupy the church’s resources in those things, because (and we hope you’re picking up a pattern here), the New Testament describes the collective work of the church as being worship (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 14:15-23, 16:2; Hebrews 10:24-25), preaching the gospel(2 Corinthians 11:8-9; Ephesians 4:16; Philippians 4:15-16; Colossians 3:16; 1 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Timothy 4:6), and benevolence: care of local needy saints (Acts 4:34f; 6:1f; 1 Timothy 5:16) and assisting other needy saints & churches (Acts 11:29f; 2 Corinthians 8-9). So, that is what we do. When we come together at our meeting place on Oak Avenue, we are gathering to worship, study the Bible, and pray.
God-Pleasing
We want to do things God’s way. We believe that is the best way to give Him glory. Above that, we believe that is what He wants. We love Him, and we want to give Him what would please Him to receive.

10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: 11 whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
As you might imagine, this local focus requires lots of involvement. There is much to do, and we could use the extra hands. We’ll help to get you started. Then, in God’s grace, by God’s strength, we’ll keep each other together on the narrow way.
